While over the last 50&nbsp;years mul\u00adti\u00adple stud\u00adies have sug\u00adgest\u00aded that the ori\u00aden\u00adta\u00adtionof fer\u00adro\u00adelec\u00adtric domains may affect the ener\u00adget\u00adics of adsorp\u00adtion on fer\u00adro\u00adelec\u00adtric oxides,definitive evi\u00addence is still lack\u00ading. In this talk we will present the first unam\u00adbigu\u00adousob\u00adser\u00adva\u00adtions of dif\u00adfer\u00adences in the ener\u00adget\u00adics of adsorp\u00adtion on fer\u00adro\u00adelec\u00adtric domains forad\u00adsorp\u00adtion of methanol and ethanol on bar\u00adi\u00adum titanate. Domain-depen\u00addent stick\u00ading\u00adco\u00adef\u00adfi\u00adcients are observed and indi\u00adcate that the fer\u00adro\u00adelec\u00adtric ori\u00aden\u00adta\u00adtion alters the strength ofthe inter\u00adac\u00adtion of adsorbed species with the sur\u00adface.
