These include aber\u00adra\u00adtion cor\u00adrec\u00adtion, enhanced detec\u00adtors and improve\u00adments in sim\u00adu\u00adla\u00adtion and analy\u00adsis soft\u00adware. In this pre\u00adsen\u00adta\u00adtion, I will present sev\u00ader\u00adal spe\u00adcif\u00adic exam\u00adples from both my own research and from oth\u00aders in the field to pro\u00advide a gen\u00ader\u00adal overview of the state of the art. In spe\u00adcif\u00adic, I will describe the lim\u00adits of spa\u00adtial, spec\u00adtro\u00adscop\u00adic and tem\u00adpo\u00adral ener\u00adgy res\u00ado\u00adlu\u00adtion, and demon\u00adstrate how one can per\u00adform both real time and operan\u00addo mea\u00adsure\u00adments do char\u00adac\u00adter\u00adize the inter\u00adre\u00adla\u00adtion\u00adships between cat\u00ada\u00adlyst struc\u00adture and cat\u00ada\u00adlyst func\u00adtion.
