Carl is cur\u00adrent\u00adly the Pro\u00adgram Chair of the Catal\u00ady\u00adsis Club of Philadel\u00adphia and was the Arrange\u00adments Chair from 2006 to 2008.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dr. Vladimiros Niko\u00adlakis<\/strong> (Ph.D., Chem\u00adi\u00adcal Engi\u00adneer\u00ading, Uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adty of Mass\u00ada\u00adchu\u00adsetts Amherst, 2001) joined the Catal\u00ady\u00adsis Cen\u00adter for Ener\u00adgy Inno\u00adva\u00adtion at Uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adty of Delaware as a Senior Research Asso\u00adciate in 2011. Before that he was a Prin\u00adci\u00adpal Researcher at the Insti\u00adtute of Chem\u00adi\u00adcal Engi\u00adneer\u00ading <span class=\"amp\">&amp;<\/span> High Tem\u00adper\u00ada\u00adture Chem\u00adi\u00adcal Process\u00ades (FORTH\/ICE-HT), Greece. His cur\u00adrent stud\u00adies are focused in the field of het\u00adero\u00adge\u00adneous catal\u00ady\u00adsis for the con\u00adver\u00adsion of bio\u00admass feed\u00adstocks to plat\u00adform chem\u00adi\u00adcals or fuels. His research inter\u00adests also include the fields of zeo\u00adlite crys\u00adtal\u00adliza\u00adtion; zeo\u00adlite mem\u00adbrane syn\u00adthe\u00adsis, eval\u00adu\u00ada\u00adtion and devel\u00adop\u00adment of nov\u00adel char\u00adac\u00adter\u00adi\u00adza\u00adtion tech\u00adniques. He is respon\u00adsi\u00adble for devel\u00adop\u00ading advanced cat\u00ada\u00adlysts for exhaust emis\u00adsion con\u00adtrol. Hai-Ying Chen received his Ph. D. degree in Chem\u00adistry from Fudan Uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adty, Shang\u00adhai, Chi\u00adna. He has been a mem\u00adber of the Philadel\u00adphia Catal\u00ady\u00adsis Club since 2000, and served the club as Sec\u00adtary, Pro\u00adgram Chair, Direc\u00adtor, and Chair.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Parag Shah<\/strong> is a Research Chemist at PQ Cor\u00adpo\u00adra\u00adtion and is involved in devel\u00adop\u00ading improved sil\u00adi\u00adca-based sup\u00adports, new poly\u00adolefin cat\u00ada\u00adlysts and process\/product devel\u00adop\u00adment for emerg\u00ading cat\u00ada\u00adlyst tech\u00adnolo\u00adgies. In 2008 he received his PhD in Chem\u00adi\u00adcal and Bio\u00admol\u00ade\u00adc\u00adu\u00adlar Engi\u00adneer\u00ading from Uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adty of Penn\u00adsyl\u00adva\u00adnia under the guid\u00adance of Prof. Ray\u00admond J. Gorte. His the\u00adsis work focused on inves\u00adti\u00adgat\u00ading the ther\u00admo\u00addy\u00adnam\u00adic prop\u00ader\u00adties of met\u00adal-oxide cat\u00ada\u00adlysts. Parag earned his Bachelor\u2019s degree in Chem\u00adi\u00adcal Engi\u00adneer\u00ading from the Insti\u00adtute of Chem\u00adi\u00adcal Tech\u00adnol\u00ado\u00adgy, Uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adty of Bom\u00adbay (India), and sub\u00adse\u00adquent\u00adly did a Mas\u00adters in Chem\u00adi\u00adcal Engi\u00adneer\u00ading at the Uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adty of Twente (The Nether\u00adlands), with empha\u00adsis on Process Devel\u00adop\u00adment and Design. She joined JM in Sep\u00adtem\u00adber 2010, after fin\u00adish\u00ading her Post-Doc at the Uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adty of South Car\u00adoli\u00adna (USC), where she focused her research of NOx reduc\u00adtion cat\u00ada\u00adlysts for gaso\u00adline emis\u00adsions. She obtained her PhD degree from USC in 2009, her dis\u00adser\u00adta\u00adtion was focused on the syn\u00adthe\u00adsis, char\u00adac\u00adter\u00adi\u00adza\u00adtion and kinet\u00adic eval\u00adu\u00ada\u00adtion of den\u00addrimer-derived monometal\u00adlic and bimetal\u00adlic cat\u00ada\u00adlysts for hydro\u00adgena\u00adtion and NOx reduc\u00adtion reac\u00adtions. Yaritza was mem\u00adber of the South\u00adeast Catal\u00ady\u00adsis Soci\u00adety and she is an active mem\u00adber of the North Amer\u00adi\u00adcan Catal\u00ady\u00adsis Soci\u00adety (2007 \u2013 present). Before retir\u00ading from Air Prod\u00aducts, Chuck was named a strate\u00adgic tech\u00adnol\u00ado\u00adgist for the Cor\u00adpo\u00adra\u00adtion and pro\u00advid\u00aded inter\u00adnal con\u00adsul\u00adta\u00adtion on a broad range of mate\u00adri\u00adals char\u00adac\u00adter\u00adi\u00adza\u00adtion issues involv\u00ading cat\u00ada\u00adlysts and adsor\u00adbents.
