On behalf of the exec\u00adu\u00adtive com\u00admit\u00adtee, we invite you to become a mem\u00adber of the Catal\u00ady\u00adsis Club of Philadel\u00adphia<\/span>. We have a tra\u00addi\u00adtion of meet\u00ading our fel\u00adlow sci\u00aden\u00adtists to dis\u00adcuss the lat\u00adest devel\u00adop\u00adments in the field of catal\u00ady\u00adsis since 1949, when a group of sev\u00aden sci\u00aden\u00adtists (A. Farkas, F. G. Cia\u00adpet\u00adta, R. Hans\u00adford, H. Heine\u00admann, R. Kennedy, K. A. Krieger and A. G. Oblad) gath\u00adered in Philadel\u00adphia to dis\u00adcuss the pos\u00adsi\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adty of hold\u00ading reg\u00adu\u00adlar meet\u00adings. This was the begin\u00adning of the Catal\u00ady\u00adsis Club of Philadel\u00adphia<\/span> (CCP<\/span>).<\/p>\n

The CCP<\/span> strives to fos\u00adter inter\u00adac\u00adtions with\u00adin the tech\u00adni\u00adcal com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adty and expose local sci\u00aden\u00adtists to cut\u00adting edge devel\u00adop\u00adments in the field of catal\u00ady\u00adsis. This begins with our month\u00adly meet\u00adings, where sci\u00aden\u00adtif\u00adic lead\u00aders in the catal\u00ady\u00adsis and chem\u00adi\u00adcal com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adty present their recent find\u00adings. Each tech\u00adni\u00adcal pre\u00adsen\u00adta\u00adtion is pre\u00adced\u00aded by a social hour and din\u00adner. This forum pro\u00advides ample oppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adty to net\u00adwork with fel\u00adlow col\u00adleagues and exchange ideas.<\/p>\n

The cur\u00adrent annu\u00adal mem\u00adber\u00adship dues are: $25.00 for reg\u00adu\u00adlar mem\u00adbers and $10.00 for stu\u00addents, post\u00addocs and retirees. A \u201cretiree\u201d is defined as one who has stopped full-time pro\u00adfes\u00adsional activ\u00adi\u00adties. Mem\u00adber\u00adship in the North Amer\u00adi\u00adcan Catal\u00ady\u00adsis Soci\u00adety is includ\u00aded when you become a mem\u00adber of the Catal\u00ady\u00adsis Club of Philadel\u00adphia<\/span>.
