  • Joe Fedeyko<\/strong> \u2013 Joe is cur\u00adrent\u00adly a Staff Sci\u00aden\u00adtist at John\u00adson Matthey Inc., Emis\u00adsion Con\u00adtrol Tech\u00adnolo\u00adgies where he devel\u00adops cat\u00ada\u00adlysts for the selec\u00adtive cat\u00adalyt\u00adic reduc\u00adtion of NOx. He grad\u00adu\u00adat\u00aded in 2001 from Lehigh Uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adty with a B.S. in Chem\u00adi\u00adcal Engi\u00adneer\u00ading and in 2006 from the Uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adty of Delaware with a Ph. D. in Chem\u00adi\u00adcal Engi\u00adneer\u00ading under the advise\u00adment of Raul Lobo. He\u2019s been a mem\u00adber of the Philadel\u00adphia Catal\u00ady\u00adsis Club for the past 8 years serv\u00ading as a pro\u00adgram chair (2007) and a direc\u00adtor (2008, 2009).<\/li>\n
  • Roger Grey<\/strong> \u2013 Roger Grey is a Research Sci\u00aden\u00adtist at Lyon\u00addell Chem\u00adi\u00adcal Com\u00adpa\u00adny, where he has been employed for almost thir\u00adty years, cur\u00adrent\u00adly work\u00ading in the field of oxi\u00adda\u00adtion catal\u00ady\u00adsis. Pri\u00ador to Lyon\u00addell, Grey worked at Allied Chem\u00adi\u00adcal for five years, main\u00adly in the field of homo\u00adge\u00adneous catal\u00ady\u00adsis. He received his Ph.D. in chem\u00adistry from Michi\u00adgan State Uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adty in 1973 and was a post-doc\u00adtor\u00adal research fel\u00adlow at UCLA for two years. Grey has been an active mem\u00adber of the Catal\u00ady\u00adsis Club of Philadel\u00adphia for many years. He has served as Pro\u00adgram Chair, Direc\u00adtor, Trea\u00adsur\u00ader, and as Chair of the Club. He also served as a co-chair of the poster ses\u00adsion pro\u00adgram for the 2005 North Amer\u00adi\u00adcan Catal\u00ady\u00adsis Soci\u00adety Meet\u00ading.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • Ist\u00advan Halasz<\/strong> \u2013 Ist\u00advan is a Prin\u00adci\u00adpal Chemist at PQ Cor\u00adpo\u00adra\u00adtion with a Ph. D. from the Hun\u00adgar\u00adi\u00adan Acad\u00ade\u00admy of Sci\u00adences. His diverse aca\u00add\u00ade\u00adm\u00adic and indus\u00adtri\u00adal research back\u00adground includes prod\u00aduct and process devel\u00adop\u00adment, mate\u00adri\u00adals char\u00adac\u00adter\u00adi\u00adza\u00adtion, het\u00adero\u00adge\u00adneous catal\u00ady\u00adsis, and sol\u00adid state chem\u00adistry. He has edit\u00aded one book and (co)authored 100 papers, 8 patents, and 63 con\u00adfer\u00adence pre\u00adsen\u00adta\u00adtions. Ist\u00advan has been an ACS and North Amer\u00adi\u00adcan Catal\u00ady\u00adsis Soci\u00adety mem\u00adber since 1990, and has held var\u00adi\u00adous board posi\u00adtions at CCP includ\u00ading chair.<\/li>\n
    • Stephen Har\u00adris<\/strong> \u2013 Stephen Har\u00adris received a BS in chem\u00adistry from Muh\u00adlen\u00adberg Col\u00adlege and a Ph.D. in phys\u00adi\u00adcal organ\u00adic chem\u00adistry from the Uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adty of Rochester. His inter\u00adests are in process design and opti\u00admiza\u00adtion using homo\u00adge\u00adneous and het\u00adero\u00adge\u00adneous cat\u00ada\u00adlysts and dif\u00adfer\u00aden\u00adtial sep\u00ada\u00adra\u00adtion tech\u00adnolo\u00adgies. He has been Trea\u00adsur\u00ader, Arrange\u00adments Chair, and Mem\u00adber\u00adship Direc\u00adtor for the CCP.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • Trap\u00adti Chaubey<\/strong> \u2013 Trap\u00adti Chaubey earned her M.S. in Chem\u00adi\u00adcal Engi\u00adneer\u00ading from Illi\u00adnois Insti\u00adtute of Tech\u00adnol\u00ado\u00adgy. Dur\u00ading her Master\u2019s she worked with Dr. Hamid Aras\u00adtoopour on recy\u00adcling waste rub\u00adber using Sol\u00adid State Shear Extru\u00adsion process. She joined Air Liq\u00aduide in 2004 and has worked on sev\u00ader\u00adal diverse research top\u00adics includ\u00ading purifi\u00adca\u00adtion process\u00ades for semi\u00adcon\u00adduc\u00adtor indus\u00adtry, syn\u00adgas reform\u00ading and CO2<\/sub> cap\u00adture and mit\u00adi\u00adga\u00adtion tech\u00adniques. At Air Liq\u00aduide she has designed sev\u00ader\u00adal com\u00adplex exper\u00adi\u00admen\u00adtal test bench\u00ades and worked on mul\u00adti\u00adple projects involv\u00ading poly\u00admer\u00adiza\u00adtion reac\u00adtion stud\u00adies.<\/li>\n
      • Wei Huang<\/strong> \u2013 Wei Huang is a Research Sci\u00aden\u00adtist at Gas Pro\u00adduc\u00adtion &<\/span> Hydro\u00adgen Ener\u00adgy Appli\u00adca\u00adtions Group, DELAWARE RESEARCH &<\/span> TECHNOLOGY CENTER (DRTC) USA, Air Liq\u00aduide. Wei obtained her Ph.D degree from Depart\u00adment of Chem\u00adi\u00adcal Engi\u00adneer\u00ading, Uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adty of Delaware. She was co-advised by Prof. Jing\u00adguang G. Chen and Prof. Raul F. Lobo. Her exper\u00adtise is cat\u00ada\u00adlyst design and syn\u00adthe\u00adsis, char\u00adac\u00adter\u00adi\u00adza\u00adtion by var\u00adi\u00adous tech\u00adniques and pilot plant design and con\u00adstruc\u00adtion. After grad\u00adu\u00adate from UD, she joined Air Liq\u00aduide in Oct. 2007 as a Research Sci\u00aden\u00adtist.       • Bjorn Mod\u00aden<\/strong> \u2013 Bjorn Mod\u00aden is cur\u00adrent\u00adly a Research Engi\u00adneer at Zeolyst Inter\u00adna\u00adtion\u00adal at the PQ Cor\u00adpo\u00adra\u00adtion R&<\/span>D cen\u00adter in Con\u00adshohock\u00aden, PA, where he is work\u00ading on zeo\u00adlite devel\u00adop\u00adment for envi\u00adron\u00admen\u00adtal appli\u00adca\u00adtions. He received his Ph. D. in Chem\u00adi\u00adcal Engi\u00adneer\u00ading from Uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adty of Cal\u00adi\u00adfor\u00adnia, Berke\u00adley under the direc\u00adtion of Enrique Igle\u00adsia in 2006 and his under\u00adgrad\u00adu\u00adate degree in Chem\u00adi\u00adcal Engi\u00adneer\u00ading from the Roy\u00adal Insti\u00adtute of Tech\u00adnol\u00ado\u00adgy (KTH), Stock\u00adholm in 2000.       • Eliz\u00ada\u00adbeth Ross-Medgaar\u00adden<\/strong> \u2013 Eliz\u00ada\u00adbeth is a Research Engi\u00adneer with Lyon\u00addell\u00adBasell Indus\u00adtries work\u00ading in the Process Tech\u00adnol\u00ado\u00adgy R&<\/span>D group. She joined Lyon\u00addell\u00adBasell direct\u00adly after receiv\u00ading her Ph.D. in Chem\u00adi\u00adcal Engi\u00adneer\u00ading from Lehigh Uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adty under the direc\u00adtion of Israel Wachs in Sep\u00adtem\u00adber 2007 and Bach\u00ade\u00adlor of Sci\u00adence in Chem\u00adi\u00adcal Engi\u00adneer\u00ading from Lafayette Col\u00adlege in 2002.       • Parag Shah<\/strong> \u2013 Parag is a Research Chemist at PQ Cor\u00adpo\u00adra\u00adtion and is involved in devel\u00adop\u00ading improved sil\u00adi\u00adca-based sup\u00adports, new poly\u00adolefin cat\u00ada\u00adlysts and process\/product devel\u00adop\u00adment for emerg\u00ading cat\u00ada\u00adlyst tech\u00adnolo\u00adgies. In 2008 he received his Ph.D. in Chem\u00adi\u00adcal and Bio\u00admol\u00ade\u00adc\u00adu\u00adlar Engi\u00adneer\u00ading from Uni\u00adver\u00adsi\u00adty of Penn\u00adsyl\u00adva\u00adnia under the guid\u00adance of Prof. Ray\u00admond J. Gorte. His the\u00adsis work focused on inves\u00adti\u00adgat\u00ading the ther\u00admo\u00addy\u00adnam\u00adic prop\u00ader\u00adties of met\u00adal-oxide cat\u00ada\u00adlysts.
