The North Amer\u00adi\u00adcan Catal\u00ady\u00adsis Soci\u00adety will pro\u00advide sup\u00adple\u00admen\u00adtal fund\u00ading for sup\u00adport of atten\u00addance at the 15th Inter\u00adna\u00adtion\u00adal Con\u00adgress on Catal\u00ady\u00adsis (15th ICC) to be held in Munich, Ger\u00admany, July 1\u20136, 2012.<\/p>\n

Fund\u00ading for this pro\u00adgram has been pro\u00advid\u00aded by fed\u00ader\u00adal agen\u00adcies (NSF, DOE) and indus\u00adtry (Dow Chem\u00adi\u00adcal Co., BASF, BP, Sud\u00adChemie). These funds will be used to pro\u00advide par\u00adtial reim\u00adburse\u00adment of trav\u00adel, lodg\u00ading and reg\u00adis\u00adtra\u00adtion expens\u00ades for atten\u00addees with pri\u00ador\u00adi\u00adty giv\u00aden to: <\/p>\n

  1. Fac\u00adul\u00adty mem\u00adbers in their first four years of appoint\u00adment to lad\u00adder-rank posi\u00adtions and cur\u00adrent\u00adly active in catal\u00ady\u00adsis research at U.S. insti\u00adtu\u00adtions.<\/li>\n
  2. Post\u00addoc\u00adtor\u00adal and grad\u00adu\u00adate stu\u00addent pre\u00adsent\u00ading oral or poster con\u00adtri\u00adbu\u00adtions at the 15th ICC.<\/li>\n
  3. Invit\u00aded chairs of ses\u00adsion at the 15th ICC meet\u00ading.<\/li>\n
  4. Oth\u00ader appli\u00adcants, as funds per\u00admit.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Appli\u00adca\u00adtions should be sub\u00admit\u00adted to Pro\u00adfes\u00adsor Jing\u00adguang Chen (NACS Direc\u00adtor-at-Large, and coor\u00addi\u00adna\u00adtor of this grant pro\u00adgram) no lat\u00ader than March 30, 2012 in elec\u00adtron\u00adic form (jgchen@\u200budel.\u200bedu<\/a>). This appli\u00adca\u00adtion should be no longer than one page and include your qual\u00adi\u00adfi\u00adca\u00adtions in the con\u00adtext of items 1\u20133 list\u00aded above. <\/p>\n

    This one-page appli\u00adca\u00adtion should clear\u00adly state:<\/p>\n

    1. Your posi\u00adtion, includ\u00ading years in present posi\u00adtion and activ\u00adi\u00adty in catal\u00ady\u00adsis research since 2007 (pub\u00adli\u00adca\u00adtions and patents in the catal\u00ady\u00adsis area). Please indi\u00adcate if your aca\u00add\u00ade\u00adm\u00adic research group is cur\u00adrent\u00adly fund\u00aded by DOE-BES or NSF<\/li>\n
    2. Your accept\u00aded pre\u00adsen\u00adta\u00adtion in the 15th<\/sup> ICC (title, ses\u00adsion, and oral or poster venue. Include accep\u00adtance let\u00adter as a sec\u00adond page).<\/li>\n
    3. Ses\u00adsions that you are chair\u00ading (include invi\u00adta\u00adtion to chair as a sec\u00adond page).<\/li>\n
    4. Any oth\u00ader data that the selec\u00adtion pan\u00adel should con\u00adsid\u00ader.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      The pan\u00adel deci\u00adsion will be com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adcat\u00aded to all appli\u00adcants no lat\u00ader than May 15, 2012 via email.
